Moving cross country -advice?

I know my fishes will not survive so I'm prepared to sell them along with the live rock, I have a fish only tank. Does it matter what I sell first? Will the fish survive awhile without rock and vise versa?

I moved alot of fish across country and got them all there alive but one. I moved them in the back of a uhaul behind my belongings. It was only two days in the truck and was in the high sixties low seventies in temp. outside. I put them in thick foam coolers with tank water. I put an airstone from one of the battery operated air pumps in each to oxiginate the water and keep some movement. All went well though. when I got to my new location I rushed to set up my tanks before unloading the truck. This last time I moved I donated the fish though, I wouldn't do it again.
