In about a month I am gonna home back to my house from college. I got a 55 gallon tank with a lion fish, and a trigger fish. I have a 10 gallon tank i was gonna set up and cycle this weekend so when i move back i can put the 2 in that tank, until i get the 55 set back up and cycled through to put them back in. But the other question i have is that im moving about 250 miles away and i was gonna get a couple 5 gallon buckets, and put them in those while i move back. I didnt know if theres any other suggestions on how to do this move or how to do this? Thanks for the help

How big is the lion and the trigger usually its not a good idea to have those 2 together anyway. I would suggest buying another 10G tank for like $15 at any lfs and seperate them it will be worth it. They would most likely be stressed out being so confined

If you plan on keeping them in the 5 gal buckets during the move you will need to provide them with a heater and air pump. You can buy power converter that plug into your cigarete lighter in your car that have regular outlets in them so you can plug up your playstation or something to it.

You might want to stop by your LFS store see if they can bag and oxygenate the fish for the move and place then in a styrofoam box with a heat pak and move them as if they were being shipped.
