Good evening, I need to do some renovations to my family room but I have a 125 gallon tank in the way. I built a pretty sturdy cabinet that is sits on, I have wood floors. Is it possible to drain 3/4 of the water out of it and slide the tank ? I only need to move it away from the walls for a few weeks. I also am going to re-finish the floors so I don't care if they scratch.
Has anyone had any luck moving a tank this way ? I have about 100 lbs rock, 100 lbs sand and a lot of corals that I can put low in the tank so they stay submerged.
