Moving Tank

I shouldn't have to worry about moving my tank for about another 12 months or so, but was wondering what all everyone would recommend to do moving it. The tank has to be removed COMPLETELY it has to be rotated on its side to be removed from the room.
It is a 54 gallon corner tank with 120+ lbs of live sand(40 live and 80 playsand) and 30-50 lbs live rock. Currently my LS is to colorful, its only been up about 2 months, just lil green around the top - but by a year i figure it should be pretty well on its way. I figure removing the sand to get the tank out will pretty much kill any/all anarobic(?) bacteria that would be in the sand.
Filtration: all i currently have is a fluval 404 with only the prefilter in it - and will prolly end up looking at refug or sump (when i figure out the setting up and placement of it).
Fish/inverts: elbs angel, maroon clow, mandarin goby, royal gamma, cleaner shrimp, peppermint, brittle star, sand sifter, purple time anenome, small shroom, numerous crabs and snails, a cucumber., and 3 featherdusters.
My other thoughts were possibly gettin a 90 gallon and transfering my stuff into it, but i'd want to recycle the sand (or at least add it to any new sand) - but the die off would prolly cause a little problem.

I know a guy who owns a reef store. He does the deep sand bed system too. He moved his entire store in two days... didn't lose any fish or corals. But, he kept his sand beds in place. If you mix them up, remove them, etc... yes... the anerobic bacteria is disturbed. You can relay the sand bed, but each layer will have to re-establish. It's a pain... but you should be able to keep everything alive regardless. As long as you keep the water parameters good. Best of luck.
