Well went into the LFS last Monday to get some LR and food and saw a Cream Angel. I seen them on line never saw one in person, the pictures below doesn't do it justis. And of course i had to do some research B4 I bought it. After research found out that this would be perfect in my 135 and is a very hardy fish. So went back on Thursday, it was swimming fine picking at rocks and ate. But it had some small white dots, there was a hippo in the tank with him that was clear. Asked how long they were in the tank, they said about 2 weeks. I mentioned the spots and the first words out of his mouth was fresh water dip, so I said I'll take him. I never seen any fish do well after a store fresh water dip them. Because they don't do it right and I new I could cure him better than they could. He is about 4" long and very thick bodied. So here is the news member to my tank.

I'm glad you are trying again! I'm sure this one will fare better then the butterfly.
Quick question Jack, do you have UV in your qt? From personal experience, I think I have had better luck with one but wanted to hear from fellow reefer here.

The angle is doing great he eats everything even pellets. Never used them, because they are not 100% effective. They do help but they only kill what passes threw them and you never have 100% of your tank water pass threw it.

It's only a 10 gal., but the filtration is better than 30gal tank HOB.
Wow looks bigger then a 10g. Thats what I use and yours looked bigger. Do you find that it is big enough for med size fish for the short QT period??
I am am looking at adding my next fish and I have had my 10g QT up and running for like 4 months. I don't really want to start over. Sorry to hijack!!
That is awesome that he is eating well, even pellets is great!! Little Piggy

It looks bigger because mine is orientated so I look threw the side not the front. For the short term its been fine. I housed a 4" PBT and he did fine. I've made my own filtration because the HOB don't cut it.

I know that it doesn't kill all of the parasites but I'm thinking every little bit helps lol.
I'm glad to hear that angel is doing awesome!!! I find that once that they eat pellets, they eat everything.

I know it's only been 3 days, while I was lowering the salinity he kept coming to the top of the tank like he was hungry, so I tried some spectrum and he gobbled them up.

I saw a same fish last night at a lfs and wow, what a pretty fish! I want one too lol. I'm totally jealous that you have a fowlr tank as well as reef tank Jack. My Mrs will have a cow if I mentioned two and tanks in one sentence lol.

This is how you can do it. Have a small tank and talk about a bigger tank for about 5 years. Then buy a house and find a deal on a big tank and store it in your garage for 16 years then you can put it up. lol That is how you get two tanks.
