Mr. Salty , tell me about Red General

Steve,
I love your site... The LFS got some red generals in and they are 40% off , I want to buy one but need some info first: will they eat corals, other stars, are the hearty?

Ok Salty must be busy... Can anyone help??? I am assuming they are closely related to a choclate chip star... but not sure

i belive thay are also known as the red knob, so that cna help y9ou to search more, if his is the case then
as they grow, they will not be reef compatible, as they may eat soft corals, sponges, tubeworms, clams, starfish, other invertebrates, and puffers

Thanks, thats what I thought.... Salty has one on his website , from his tank , and I just thought it looked cool... Guess maybe I will look into getting a brittle or a serpent...

Sorry I was busy last night.But SAMMY covered my butt.As he said,,,NOT REEF SAFE.I had a stinging long tentical plate coral in the tank that he would not leave alone.Even though it would sting the crap out of him everytime he would touch it.He would allways go back..He eventually killed the plate...
