I was looking at your tank pics and i think i saw a Africian Red-Knob Star, or something like that. Is that reef safe?

Actually it's called a RED GENERAL star, and NO they are not reef safe. But as you can see,my tank is a fowlr+inverts.I do have one coral,a large long tenticle plate but the starfis gets stung when he goes near it.A lesson he learned quite early. Now hw leaves it alone.

I have one 175watt MH,two 40watt flo's,and two 30watt flo's. The two 30's are blues.The 40's are a 20,000k daylight,and another blue.About 310 watts total. I am adding one or two more 175 MH's soon.I love the ripples of light in the water they give off.
