Mr. Salty, I've tried to leave this message on your email from your website, but your server isn't accepting mail.....
My tank has been up now 2 1/2 weeks. I just put in a cleanup crew
yesterday.....150 gal., and for the brown algae, I put in 35 turbos and 25
left-handed hermits.
I was looking at the setup on your website and was especially interested in
your light setup. I'm assuming your tank is 72" long. Do you do OK with
just 2- MH?
I've only right now got the original flourescents that came with the tank.
My LFS is getting in 72X18 pine canopy's later in January, and then I'm
going to put in my lighting.
Is it OK to put in 2-MH's on a 6' tank instead of 3? I figured one in the
middle of each 36" section, then a couple of 96W actinics either VHO or
compacts in front.
Would this be enough for a 72" tank? I see that you've got anemone's. I
don't anticipate going for SPS corals, but I would like the intense lighting
for anemones.
BTW, I came through Benton Harbor on Christmas night driving from Detroit,
home to Wisconsin. Just moved here in April from the Detroit area.....what
a hell of a whiteout at about mile marker 43......Hope your power is still
on!!!
Happy holidays. Thanks in advance for your help!
