I don't know if you got around to answering this before the board disappeared so I'll ask again. How much do you think it would cost to setup just yoru filtration system? And is it all stuuf that has to be bought or can some of it be made from scratch?

I have seen my sump and overflow for around $300.The magnum canister I am running as a nitrate filter is around$70. The 10 gallon refugium is probably around $30. Pump(quiet one)$80.Then there is all the plumbing and spray bars that were all home made,add another 25-30bucks. So I guess alltogether it could be done for around 5-600 dollars.
