MSX 200 vs MSX 250 skimmer

Well I'm now trying to purchase a skimmer for my 135. I was going to be putting the skimmer in my 55 sum/fuge. I wanted to go with the MSX 250, but not sure it will fit into a 55...so I guess I would go with a 200 if it wouldn't fit. Does anyone have either of these and what size tank is it sitting in?

I have the msx 250 on my system....200 gallons total. It is sitting in a sump that I built for it. The footprint is actually smaller than listed on the website, but I don't believe it will fit in a 55 gal The 11.5 is width is a killer. I know the new ones have the pump oriented so that they are smaller than they used to be, so it may work. Call marine solutions and ask for Jeff and ask him if he has fit one in a 55 gal. I know the MSX 200 will fit, and it would probably be enough for your tank depending on how heavy your bioload is.

i have the 200 for my system 120g tank, 50g sump. I emailed marine solutions asking them if i should spend the extra $80 for the 250 and they recommended the 200 for my system, saying the 250 would be overkill.
