MSX Skimmer pump

How do you remove a mesh wheel and put a needle wheel on a pump? Mine seems stuck and I dont want to break it.

use needlenose pliers and remove the white "button" looking piece in the middle of the impellar. then after you put the pinwheel on just pop it back in.

Mine does rattle from time to time at start up with the mesh mod.I cure this by blowing air into the intake and it stops this.

Yea, I trimmed the mesh mod and now it doesn't rattle anymore.
