mud sump

I have a 55g tank and I just added a mud sump. How long will it take for pods and other critters to show up.

well i dont think it will take to long. do you have anything else in there like algae, or live rock. if those things are in there i think it would pretty much be automatic. just remember even thou you dont see them they are probably still there. and remember patience is the key in this hobby!

Actually I put a piece of live rock in the sump that had hair algae on it. Im in the process of getting a bigger stand and the sump doesnt have any calerpa in it yet
