Ok, I have a question, and I know the standard answer....no more than 1 per tank..BUT
I had 2 Clarkii's (pair) and 2 Maroons (not pair) in a 75g with no agression. Thanks to a Yellow tang Ich out break and a 20g QT in Hypo I lost the 2 Clarkiis and 1 small Maroon. I'm left with one huge (4in+) dark maroon clown that is now safe and sound in a 240g Long (8'x2'x2'). I was given a large almost same size Maroon today from a coworker that it BRIGHT RED. Currently it is in the 75 QT tank.
Does anyone think that two Maroons is too much in a 240g? I could use the small/med colorful fish that would be tough enough to hold their own in my display, but don't want to hurt one. Plenty of Rocks and caves (over 300lbs of LR).
Thoughts?
