I love your tank, and am wondering about your rock work. I hate how mine looks. its like a brick wall. yours slopes very nice. does it rest against the back wall or is there a space. I have about a 4 inch space all behind mine.I dosent give me many flat places to place corals I want to redo mine, just scared i'll mess my tank up.

I am not sure if I did it correctly, but I did slope mine against the back glass of the tank.
Thoughts any?

i think most people put their rock on the back glass. some people try to get power heads or flow pushing behind the rocks tho. maybe do close to 50% of your tank at a time, and wait 48 hours to the other half. this will reduce the overall stress on the system i think,

i hate mine somewhat to...no slop or anything, just stacked, but i have only a few pieces leaning against the back...otherise i have just a small space between the glass and rock

hey teresa... sorry i didnt see ur post earlier
yeah mines sloped back and rest on the glass but u have to stack it very carefully so u dont have an avalanche and bust ur tank
the whole area behind the slope is open in my tank so water can flow behind and through the rock work to allow for better filtration
the key is stability and to use your rock for what it is natural filtration ....
IMO less is more i think i have about 200-225lbs at most of LR in my 180
