Mushroom coral problem with shrimp?

My mushroom coral has been happy and plump for 3 months until last week, when the camelback shrimp decided to take up residence on it. Since then it has been stressing - curled up, not opening polyps often, the stringy mucous thing... could it be the shrimp's fault? and if so, what to do? Thanks...

first thing i would do is take the camleback out because they eat corals.
mushrooms are pretty tough it should bounce back
