Mushroom coral

Will hermit crabs eat mushroom coral? I see couple of them spending a lot of time on the rock that the mushrooms are on and I don't want them making a snack of the shrooms.
Thanks

my hermits like to live under one of my rocks that have some green mushrooms on it. They have a little cave and outside that cave are a pile of shells that they have collected. I have never seen them damage any of my mushrooms or anything else but they love my snails.

I have lots of mushrooms, they are one of my favorite corals, and they have never been bothered by my hermit or emerald crabs.

Thanks for the responses. There are 2 hermit crabs that just like to hang out on the rock that the mushrooms are on. No harm.

Last night I witnessed one of my hermit crabs "sitting" on our mushroom polyp. The mushroom of course was a little alarmed, but the crab wasn't eating it - just cleaning it off.
