I have 5 mushrooms that were doing great but now they seem to be shrivling up, they come out some but not like the use to. I also have 4 towards the side of the tank that do great. I have PC lights that hit the water direct.(there is no glass canopy). I do a water change once a week.(5gallons) I buy my water.(R/O salt and top off with R/O fresh water) Does anyone have any suggestions?? Please help they were doing great for a month!!

Has anything been picking at them? Has there been a change in your water parameters recently? Do you add supplements to your tank? Hopefully there's nothing really wrong with the colony and they'll perk up soon. Sometimes they close up a bit, sometimes they're very very very open. :D

we had some mushrooms shrivel up and eventually died, we put it down to the temperature of the tank as it was sky high but it could be wrong PH etc.

I have my clean up crew (about 20 blue legged crabs, 2 scarlet crabs, 2 turbo snails, cleaner shrimp, and sand sifting star), 2 clowns (percula, and tomato). Supplments, i add trace elements once a week, calcium when needed (i test before i add), Pro-buffer dKH (i test before adding), and i feed zooplex. pH-8.3, ammonia-0.00ppm, nitrites-0.00, nitrates-0.00, calcium-450, dKH-8.0, alkalinity-2.86meq/L.
Is there anything else i should test for?? the only change in water parameters, maybe alkalinity.
