Mushroom help

I just got my first mushroom yesterday and tonight i notticed it detached from its rock it came on is this a bad thing? did it die already?

no its proabaly not dead ~it probably didnt have a good hold on the rock and when its stressed from moving deflates completely and can come detached. try to reattach it or let it attach on its own somewhere in the tank.

if you can, cut him in half and you'll end up with two shrooms. it'll take about 2-3 weeks for the halves to heal. shrooms are pretty hardy.
