mushroom lighting

Hello I have a few mushrooms and I was wondering about lighting. Do they need full light or shaded lighting I have 500 watts of M.H>

They should do very well with the shaded lighting, they really do not require much to live.

What happen is a peice of live rock shifted over the mushrooms, and I noticed the mushrooms pedistal underneith. I wonder if they are getting to much light.
