mushroom lights

i am currently keep shrooms under 2 flourecent lights 40w total in a 29 i am upgrading to 130w dual pcs will these lights make the shrooms grow like some i see in yalls tank i am also suplementing calcium and 2 other chemicals

They should grow and look better under more light but I hope you are testing for the chemicals you are dumping in your tank.

yes i am and i was wondering is $50 each a good price for leathers

Better lighting will make the mushrooms expand better, and help growth. As for 50.00 for a leather, well that depends on size and type. I paid 39.00 for a huge toadstool, it head was 9 inches across and its stem was really thick, and it was very healthy.

yeah for a small 1 inch frag of a leather i wouldn't pay more then 10 - 15.

there's no need to add any chemicals to your tank if all you have is mushrooms....and possibly a leather.....there should be more than enough trace elements in your salt mix and if you do regular water changes then you're fine.....130w for shrooms are fine and also polyps ....just keep them a little higher....not too much else though

yeah i was gonna order the system today but the shipping isnt free any more

so i have to w8 its so frustrating
