Is my mushroom budding into another mushroom? I've only had it for about a week.
I took the pic yesterday and today morning the little extra mushroom was gone.
Its in the lower right hand corner of the pic. It seems like a miniature shroom is hanging of thew original.
Oh the mushroom looks lighter then it is because of the way I took the photo. And the mushroom is usually flat and not wrinkled like the pic. I'll try and get another pic of it when it looks better.
But what is the little thing hanging off of it?
looks like base tissue attached to a rock, if the shroom is healthy and is in a suitable environment (i'm not judging photos can be misleading either way) the tissue attached to the little rubble rock has the potential to become a full on coral.
