Ok boys and girls, the first pic is a mushroom I took yesterday. Today for some reason it dislodged its self. This is what I found two new mushrooms only thing is I have never seen a mushroom with a stalk. Any thoughts WOW just noticed somthing when I posted the pic WHAT IS THAT between the rocks behind the mushroom ??

a lot of the mushrooms i have are sitting on stems, esp in a spot where i have 10 of them in a small area
i think they are trying to get on top of each other in order to get direct light

Yes my friend I am leaning toward the reason of acquiring a position to receive more light. Now for the mysterious thing between my rocks. Which by the way is no longer there

yes i know there is a simple explanation
its hard to tell, its a little out of focus
i know i had an outbreak of feather dusters that formed tiny little circles on my black glass (grew like crazy in the shade)
but if you said they arent there anymore, the only thing i could think of is that there was a fish/shrimp back there that took off when the camera flashed and that is the sand that was kicked up

Bingo if I look carefully at the back of my tank through the rocks I can see what appeasers to be white spots on the glass
