Would a yellow polyp damage a mushroom? The large mushroom is on the front of a rock and is surrounded by button polyps.
I recently moved it above a rock with the same button polyps but with yellow polyps also. the bottom half of the muchroom has been damaged and looks like it has dissolved away.
There is a Colt nearby, but not within touching distance. If it was the colt I would have thought more than the bottom of the mushroom wuld be damaged.
Could Yellow polyps be the culprit?

Yellow polyps dont have any stinging cells in their tentacles that could harm your mushroom, you sure you didnt smash it with rocks from before?, If it is that, itll just regrow, nothing to worry about.
