mushrooms are closed

both of my mushroom corals are closed up and im not sure why. Do these guys prefer low flow, i think thats what the problem is is that my powerhead is pionted in there general direction. Also, what other things can bug mushrooms?

With mine, it was a clown trying to host it, made it really mad!
 
From my experience, they tend to like lower flow.

its definantly not my clowns, and now im pretty sure its not the powerhead, i just looked at it again (i dont know how i missed it before) but theres a rock in front of the shrooms so there not getting much flow at all, could they need more flow?

They do like low flow and don't like strong lighting. My mushrooms will close up if I move them and when my goby dumps sand on it. I believe they can detach themselves if they don't like a particular area and float to a more desirable area.

mine use to be next to eachother and have moved a few inches apart, but theyve never detached.
