mushrooms bleaching??????

my mushrooms are turning white and i cant figure out why . i started tem low ten slowly moved up. i have had them for 3 months and been doing fine. i dont know what kind they are but they are brown and look simular to ricordeas but smaller. some are all white and some are getting lighter but some are like getting white just on edges. what could it be? sorry for no pics
oh and its a few different species that are getting white around the edges.
 
here is a pic. i had them low then a week later i moved them up and they seemed fine for months and now them and these ones called blue mushrooms but they never looked blue open more grayish brown. light are 2 150 mh

As odd as it sounds, you might be overdoing them on the light, though Ive never heard of such case happening on mushrooms.

I would try moving them into some shade if possible, look like rhodatis mushrooms to me, they don't need much light but it's still strange that they bleached so slowly.

How much flow do you have on them? Doesn't look like they are opening up all the way. I'd still put my money on how close they are to the lighting. Goniopora looks happy!

a bit of advice, if they're bleached, and you chop off the head, it'll grow an unbleached one, i made a mistake of putting one to low, it bleached, then i just chopped the head off and flushed it, and the base grew a new unbleached mushroom.

what just cut the mushroom off the rock and thats it?
