mushrooms dont open much?

i have some mushrooms, had em for 5 months now, and sometimes they are full and opened but there are days when they stay balled up and dont open at all, more of those days then open and full? so am i doing something wrong? should i be feeding them something? more then the lights? i have good lights bbut i dont kno what to do? anyone help?

my guess is u could have them in a bad spot, mine were doing the same thing i moved them to a better spot and they are open all the time!

What kind of lights do you have? how close to the lights are they?

I think they just go through cycles I had one for months that did nothing then poof I have a ton of them for no reason!

216w t5's... there not right up under the lights but i didnt think they had to be soo close/? should i move them higher? do they need food?

How much flow is directly on them?
