Mushrooms Move?

I bought a rock with a dozen or so pink & green mushrooms about 6 months ago. I set this rock on another rock. The other day, when feeding cyclopeeze, I squirted into the shrooms. When they closed up, I saw one had slid down onto the rock underneath.
Is that normal? I know they can detach and float around, but I did not know they could slide off of a rock onto another.

yea, its normal ...
probably left a small piece of itself behind that will grow into a new shroom
as well

thats how they reproduce and spread the colony.
i cant tell you how many of my shrooms have completely let go, floated in the current, landed elsewhere and have set up shop there.

yeah, they like to move, obviously either by letting go and flowing and finding a new spot or just very very slowly moving. I have a mushroom that has moved off the frag disc i got it on and is now probably 2 inches away from it, so now i have a free frag disc.
