Mushrooms.

I was looking at pictures of different types of mushrooms and thought of something,
What gives the mushroom it "mushroom" look and how come some arent all smooth or all raggy? Just something to ponder about.

they fall into the mushroom category but there are species in that category so all are different in some way.
