Mushrooms :(

I currently have 2 Hammer Coral heads, Kenya tree, many zoa's, GSP, and candy cane coral that are all doing fantastic. My tanks 3 months old and parameters are all good. I have T5 Lights 2 PC 2 Actinic 216w total. Two MJ 1200. Only thing so far I can't keep are mushrooms? What am I doing wrong. I feed my corals once a week. I don't have any fish or inverts that will harm corals. Do they like lots of light or a little? In the shade or out in the open? Lots of flow or a little flow. Ive tried keeping simple brown ones then I've tried a light blue speckled frag. Neither look how they looked at the LFS. In my tank they look kinda shriveled.

When I did constant water changes, and checked parameters all the time, nothing grew. Now I hardly do anything except top off, and feed every third day. The three kinds of shrooms are going nuts! I have some 5 inches across! My frogspawn is going nuts, as is everything else. The fact that I have such nutrient rich water is what I think is the reason for the growth.
Just my opinion. I am enclosing a photo of my tank, it's a 75g.

i completely agree. my boomers love dirty water haha. in a reef tank, you want nutrients and 'dirty water' becasue it ends up being food to something else in the tank. my shrooms like a higher pH and do not at all tolerate a low one...check that. they are photosynthetic and dont need to be fed but they like low light and low flow. put them close the the sand bed and they will be fine. check your acclimation process too

try getting some cheapy mushrooms, and place them in a shaded area. if they aren't getting enough light they will lose their color (go transparent) and they will begin to "reach up", like they are stretching towards the light. too much light and they won't fully extend. that's my experience.
when re-aquascaping, i've found some shrooms that were almost in between rocks where little to no light reaches. they were surviving, but were almost 2 inches tall and nearly see-through. after acclimatising them into light, they are miniature versions of the "mother shroom"
