mushrooms

are mushrooms easy to keep.....it seems that i am having dificulty keeping them. they just shrink. all my other corals are doing fine an most have multiplied.
i have duncans, zoos, buttons, star pollups, frogspawn to name a few

Welcome to my life! I get so pissed, I can keep flower pot coral, expensive acans, etc, but not a damn mushroom! What lighting do you have? My mushrooms in my 14G under PC's do great, the ones in my tank with MH's (and even when they were T5HOs) don't do so great no matter where I place them. From my own experience, the spotted mushrooms, pimples, fuzzy and/or hairy are far easier than the solid colors for whatever reason. My blue mushrooms and red mushrooms are awful and always look half dead while everything else is thriving.

I am not to sure about this but isn't most mushroom coral supposed to under low to moderate lighting and not mh?

Depends on the type of mushroom. My blues require. low light and they barely see any and still look awful. My hairy mushrooms are on direct light and have never looked better.
