Is it possible to have to good of water condition for mushroom corals? I am asking beacause mine are staying shriveled and not opening up? thanks

My water quality is great and my mushrooms do wonderfully.
What type of mushrooms are we talking about? Different mushrooms require different lighting requirements. What type of lighting do you have them under?

I have one elephant ear? i think that is what they are called and 2 maroon ones. not sure of there name but very common. I have them under PC lights. I have 36 watts on a 3 gallon tank. here is a pic of them when they were opening up and happy

All of those should be happy with that lighting. It may be too much flow on them?

That's what I was thinking...How's the flow?
They go thru periods where they close up, but those should be open and multiplying like crazy.

Can't tell from the pic, but are those some of the red (maroon) shrooms on the right, up under the leather. If so, their light is being covered.

thanks for the info. I turned the filter down. Should I quit using the Nano Tech A &B

Frequent water changes is better than adding chemicals, IMHO. The only thing I add to my 155 and my nano is a calcium/buffer two part because I have clams and/or SPS in both tanks.
How often do you do water changes?

since the picture they have all moved to the front of the tank. they are kind of like anemones. put them some where and they turn up there sides and ride to where they want to be

Mushrooms are a type of anemones

for a 3 gallon tank, u really hv no business dosing anything. just regular water change is more than enough.
