Can't wait to see it when it is filled! Good luck.
You are not the only 1. But waiting for the cycle is the best thing. I have to admit when I first started this addiction over 4 years again. I did not wait for the cycle or even test the water for SG/PPt.
Ugg talk about stupid.

Well on a continuation of my 110 blog, there is good and bad. Good. I am already getting Coraline. Bad I am also getting red slime.
I added 2 new pumps as it seems the cyano is in dead zones. 2 Korila nanos should give it just enough flow in those areas that the red slime has no chance. But you never know.
Now I also had a algia outbreak. Not to bad though. My Yelow tang loved it and so did the 60 snails that I have in the tank. But I have been trying to get to the underlying reason for it. I really think it is the lighting. I do not have the controller on the lights yet so they are on more then I like. BUT on the good side, the wife got me a nice gift. I got a Phosban reactor. It is a 2 chambered phosban reactor. 1 for charcoal the other for the phosban. The guys state that in a week I should see a drastic improvement in the tank water and less algia.
Next is to get my CA reactor going. I will post more pics soon of what I have done.

Woot, almost 1 week now and the tank has really improved. The water is well clearer, and the Algia has diminished to almost nothing. Anything that is staying around the 60+ snails are taking care of.
Now I did find out that I did have the water flowing a little too fast, so I dont think the phosban reactor was working as well as it could.
But on the good side of things. I finally got my CA reactor up and running. I am running a coralife calcium reactor 250, with a 5# tank. Now at this point I am at about 35 to 40 BBls a min. I wanted to start on the lower end of the instructions.
Now I already had Coraline growing in the tank, so now I can't wait to see what happens when the CA reactor kicks in.
