Currently my stock is
1 Umbrella leather
1 MASSIVE elephant ear
1 clam
TON of mushrooms
Few zoa's on the way out.
Fish
1 sail fin tang (1.2 years old)
1 kole tang (1.6 years old)
1 pink spotted goby 1 years old
3 fire fish (4 months old)
3 or 4 hermits
1 cbs
The tank itself has been up and running now for just over 2 years as you can see from the growth on the rocks (It was white live rock when I got it) - However when I moved a year ago I had the tank packed with life, more corals than I could count, enough fish to make you think even with my sump the tank was over stocked..... It was amazing. - However when I moved into my new home in the transport container I had placed in my basement the temp guage went wacko - temp got up to 97F :( - I lost literally almost everything except for some mushrooms and my umbrella leather and 1 stalk of xenia.
As for fish only a couple survived. :(
Anyways A year has past and my frustration of loosing literally thousands of dollars of life stock has finally wore off. - I kept the tank running in hopes that I would enjoy the hobby again.
My thurst for a reef is back full blown! - Right now I'm just waiting a few more months for the last few zoa's I have to die because I had a parasite problem a while back, also waiting for this hair alege problem to go away, (Lots of water changes)
Give it a few more months and this bad boy will be back in action!
I want to make my tank a unique lagoon tank. - Easy to take care of but still colorful enough to draw your eye.
If any of you have frag's I'd LOOOOOVE to pay for shipping and handling :)

Looks really nice. In one of your photos, I see a cut-off two liter bottle (I think) what is it? Always looking for good DIY ideas. If you are looking for good hair algae control try out some emerald crabs. They love to chow down on the algae, and will have it cleaned up in no time and keep it cleaned up.

Emrald crabs? - Really? - I love those things, If they take care of it i'll buy like 5 :)
as for the pop bottle, I grow brine shrimp (Sea monkey's) - For my few corals and for my pods.
I'm trying to up my pod population so when I introduce a mandrin in a few months i'll be ok.

That elephant ear is huge. Do you feed it? I have one as well that is about 8-9" that I just got a couple of days ago.
Nice looking setup BTW!
