my 125 tank, fuge, sump, etc 3 weeks into cycle

some corals. if you wonder why I have corals in a tank that's been setup for 3 weeks, it's because ich broke out in my other tank, so I had to do hyposalinity. all the polyps and corals have been doing very well though. this colony started out as a 1 inch x 2 inch frag. it's now about 5x5 inch

Thanks. I'm still trying to figure out how to use the camera to take closeup detail shots without being blurry.
I have some star polyps that I bought from swf.com that I was going to post a pic of, but I can't get a good pic.

As for the non-fuzzy closeups, does your camera have a macro setting? That's usually what does the trick. ...might be represented on your camera or in the menu somewhere as a small tulip, but it'd be best to read the manual

I'll have to check that out. there is some kind of flower on there, I thought I read that it is for taking pics of landscapes or something.

I have a 65 watt shop type light. cost $15 on the auction site.
