Nice.
I had a thread earlier saying my live rock that faces the light was turning green just like yours. Is that just the rock maturing?

I have always had a problem with green algae on my rock. I am going to change my bulbs and see if that helps. Anyone else have any suggestions?

beautiful tank! may i ask what is your stock list (fish) and how many pounds of LR you have? I am thinking of setting up a 150 also.

I have the same green algae problem on my rocks and once a day I clean my glass off of it. I use RO/DI water so phosphates are not an issue and my nitrates are barely 2. I do admit that my light period has been 12 hour of daylight until tonight.
How many hours of daylight do you give to your tank?

I would test for phosphates, even if you use RO/DI water.....fish poop, which can cause a phosphate jump. Frozen fish food, and especially dried fish food, have phosphates in them.
If the green is just a color, (simple algae) not actually hair algae, then it is a sign of a maturing tank. But test your phosphates to be sure.
Very nice tank. Good luck with it.

I've tested mine and it's barely detectable. I haven't had any hair algae just what I guess looks like green coraline. Some areas on the rocks are very very bright green, almost glows.
