okay so do you think im ready to take on a sun coral?
my 2 almost 3 month old reef tank

sun coral would probably be fine BUT
you will have to feed it. I mean target feed. Turn off the pumps and make sure each polyp gets food or it will die. They do not survive on light. (short version)
the excessive feeding is hell on your water so its a little more maintenance to keep it clean, more frequent changes etc.
Its a high maintenance coral lol and most people get bored of having to feed them and they die. so if you are committed to this relationship then move in!
