here is my first sw tank its a 29 g tall...i have 45 lbs of llr, 30 lb of ls, running a ac30, but will modding a ac70 into a fuge in a couple of days. 1 koralia nano, have 2 koralia 1's on the way. nova extreme 4x24 t5ho for lighting.
did a 10% water change today, tested my water:
trites...0
trates...0
amm....0
ph..8.2
calc....500...is this too high?
i went and purchased my first fish..false perc.also a peppermint shrimp. here is a pic of the tank...

Nice tank... What is your specific gravity? What kind of salt are you using?
Calcium that high shoudn't harm anything. Should balance out with water changes.

thanks.. as far as sg, dont know., also salinity dont know that either. need a refracto.. looking to purchase one in the next couple of days. my sw i get from my lfs.
