Hey guys/gals, I am new to these forums so I would like to intoduce myself. My name is Andrew, I lve in Atlanta and I own a 16 month old Fiji Reef tank. Currently I have a Coral Beauty Angelfish, Purple Pseudochromis, Scooter Blenny, two Blue Damsels, and about 5 blue-leg hermits and an Atrea snail. As for coral, all I have at the time is two different Colt Corals. Oh, I forgot to mention the colony of featherdusters I found in my filters. I moved them to a corner of my aquarium with low flow and they are thriving. Anyway, here are some pictures.

I have a penguin 550, i believe that is what it is...anyway, I was changing the filters and I saw all these little "growths" on the sponge pads. when I took the filter out of the water they looked like nothing more than a little tan/white lump about 1/4 inch long. Then I submersed the filter in water to see little feathery heads poking out. In total, I had about 20-30 transferred into the main tank. So far, they all seem to be doing well! My Coral beauty is perhaps more curious that a next door neighbor, so he was right over there staring at them as soon as I put them in. haha, he still stares at my blue legged hermits I just bought. I guess it was a lucky find, I'm just glad they are not all dead.
