The 225 has had fish in it since August 2008....I actually started with A LOT more than I should have (didn't know lol) I have added one here and one there since..Not really gonna add anymore fish though...they seem happy as they are :) so now I am stocking with corals....
OH ...I am getting a group of 3 Pajama Cardinals (freebies from SWF) tomorrow...
I have now had my 225 for a year...wowww..I just realized that one year ago this weekend I added water to the tank...

What a nice anniversary thought, and a video to remind you...do you have any pictures of when you first set it up? It would be great to see the then and now side by side if you do.

That is sooo cool! Look how far you have come! For fake stuff it looked really good!
I know it was a picture before the algea came...been there and done that. LOL
I don't have any pictures of my beginnings...no camera back then, my now X husband seldom worked and I raised my three children pretty much on my income alone.

Looks good. What is the whitish/pinkish fish closer to the end of the video of the 225? I like the 29 the best, it is so clear. Keep up the good job!

That is the red spotted sandperch...I love that guy....
The 29g has the T5HO...I really like them...I just replaced my lights on the 225g..Next time I need a different type...I really don't like the yellowy coloring...BUT the lights COST a fortune so I am not chaning them until December....there are 3 250w MH 10K...and 8 actinics....about $300 worth...
Any suggestions on bulbs would be appreciated...
