i have a power compct and a 50/50. it may be not as good as halides but the coral is LOVEN IT:D thx for the nice comments :joy:

Yes Power compacts work fine for anenomies.and it looks like you have enough wattage too. Todd
Not for a carpet and he has no where near the lighting.

Hmm, i have a carpet for 6 months, under actinics, untill rescently Metal halides now . Hes done just fine, and is a beautifull anenomie, so i would bet it would do fine under power compacts. Todd

You only had him under it for six months. Long term he would have died. Also this guy has 60 watts of power compact. Carpets need metal halide for long term success. They like the substrate and power compacts can not penetrate the water deep enough to give them the needed lighting.

How much Live Rock is that?? I have a 30 gallon long (36"x12"x17") and just curious....What's that little yellow fish called??

ok i have 25 pounds of live rock (getting up to 45 in the end)
i got special ones at my lfs to make arches, if u can see them, and the small yellow fish is a yellow watchman gobby I LOVE HIM. he rocks. well thx for the cool comments

Thanks, I'll have to get one of them! Is that any particular type of sand by the way, it looks really powdery or something?

BTW the watchman goby likes more thick, not so powdery sand so he can dig burrows. and the sand i picked probably was not the best type for him. BUT HES happy :)
