Heeyyy, very cool!! Is this your first tank? I have one exactly like it. Started my first reef in there, had seahorses for quite a while, now I'm in the process of breaking it down. Love the tank though.
Best of luck with yours. Hang out here and ask LOTS of questions BEFORE doing anything you're not sure of. Can't go wrong that way.

lol.. redid the rock work, i know it might hurt our levels a little bit (it did last time i moved things around) but i like it SOOO much more this way.
Yes, the tank cycled and this is my first saltwater tank... i have been spending a good deal of time looking, researching, reading, exc... i love this forum already. My husband and I are already planning our next tank for our bedroom HAHAHAHA...

Here are some updated pics.. because our QT tanks hasnt cycled yet and we ordered this fish awhile ago it had to go right into our DT. I got this crazy awesome Zoo for $35.00.. it has a TON of polyps on it and as you can see its opened up sooo much already!!
New Zoos closed up:

Opened up almost all the way, they looks sooo much prettier IRL:

my mushroom experiment seems to be going well and my little metallic hammer:

Cleaner shrimp:

and you thought my clown was small?!!!

My clown and hippo side by side.. and my clown is TINY:

Overview:

and for the record we ordered the hippo small on purpose.. our big tank will have time to cycle and we can have it in the living room for awhile before it moves into the bedroom.

its some kind of bahamian rock.. we got it for about $3 per pound I would consider using it as shelves but i didnt want to have to redo the freakin rock again so i just stuck them in there. LOL. Thank you for the compliment on them.. my new tank has about 115lbs of it, it looks really neat.

looking really good so far. What kind of camera are you using? Those pics are coming out pretty good!
thanks! Its a canon rebel XTi... I love photography. With any other photos I would enhance the colors (by boosting saturation and contrast) but i want these to be as accurate as possible in color.

NO! I tried to move it all back and just made a bigger mess than what it was. what a great way to acclimate my new hippo tang and zoos! I redid it AGAIN and the way it is now is the way it is STAYING. Ill post pictures when I get home in a little bit (gotta run back out to the LFS and spend a few more bucks hahaha)

hey thanks for the eye roll, (read the sarcasm there) yes that hippo tang is in my 37 gallon fish tank. Its all of 2 inches long and its only in there until my 125 cycles and it gets some size on it to move into the big tank. My other thread is in this forum. I ordered the fish so I wasnt about to just stick it into the big tnak thats not complete with cycling, it will be perfectly fine for the time being in that tank. if you read the thread instead of just looking at the pictures you wouldve seen that
