Got my long awaited set-up fianally going. 4x20 longs all on one system. Central 30gl sump with attatched 15gl refugium. Lighting over each 20gl is 2x24wt T5s. Here are some of the livestock. Not much in the way of fish. Couple Maroon yellow stripes, 6 line wrasse and mated pair yellow watchmans with 2 Tiger pistols. They all live in one tank. The other 3 tanks are mainly corals with one pretty much packed with LR and attatched mushrooms.
Few pics.

Clown fish tank. Planning on getting a BTA

Was damaged some time back and made full recovery

how do you set them up together
one pump in each tank pumping to the next?
I drilled them with 1 inch overflows. They are ona rack I built 2 on each side and they overflow to the center sump and pump back up via magdrive. The refugium sits next to the sump and feeds from one end of the sump and back into.

Thanks. I am in love with ricordea. Its all I think about. Wish I was addicted to crack instead at times. Think it would be cheaper habit.

Yes, the tank with the pistols and fish has a DSB, the tanks with the corals are BB. I have been thinking of putting a fine layer in the coral tanks just for light reflection. BB is so much easier to keep clean and keep the corals pest free.

But would the sand show off the sweet color of those rics better?
Good point. I can't believe I spend so much time looking at something that doesn't move. It fascinates me when I see new colors crop up on individual rics. I ahev seen a few do almost a complete color change even. I have a couple that have become almost a banded orange and red alternating the colors.
Here is one I just love the colros of. Diffiult to capture the true colors with my camera. It is an intense green with gold through it.

This yuma is really coming around. I can't believe these sell for $100 or more on the

[hr]
place. Theya re nice, but come on!

Might cut this one. What do you think? Leave it or cut?

See what I mean by when I say I can't help but sitting and looking at all the colors?

This one and one other have been changing colors. What theya e going to end up as is anyones guess.

Do you have a pic of all the 20gals in one shot?
Certainly not high-tech. Please don't laugh!
Eventually, once everything is worked out to ease of access and control, I will enclose the bottom and have access doors.
