My 5 Gallon

This tank is a 5 gallon Eclipse Bowfront, I aquired it on a lucky dumpster dive.
I decided to turn it into a nano on my desk at work. I had a tank that had some neat black and white substrate that I used and some old-live rock that had gone the way of the dinosaur.
After some modifications and handy work with the dremel I have 2 of the eclpise power compacts that screw into the regular incandescant bulb outlets. So there are 2 10W PCs.
Inhabitants.
1 Evil Blue Damsel that I am soon to get rid of, want to replace it with a firefish.
2 Hermits
2 Margerita Snails
1 Large Clump of some type of Caulerpa, soon to be removed and placed into a refugium on my 29G, or possible on a fuge on this 5 Gallon, this has yet to be decided.
Here is a picture

You should see him, its like the evil hunter look. When i introduced my snails into the tank the other day, he snapped one of their eyestalks off. He is quite the meany.

yeah you should replace him once he out grows that tank. i dont recomend a firefish to replace him with though. in my honest opinion i dont beleive any fish should go into a tank less than 10g. if you go with maybe a small clown goby of some sort i think it would be ok... maybe and i say MAYBE you could do a watchmen goby/pistol shrimp mix. they will hardly ever leave their cave so they wont need as much exploring room as others. only do this pair if you tank is aged about 6months or more. good luck. your tank looks great so far

Tank has been going for about 4 months now. The damsel is happy, as much as one seriously territorial fish can be. Have some pinkish red and green corralline growth showing on the rocks. I am considering adding a bit more live rock, just haven't decided what direction I am going to go with this tank as of yet.
I will post some pictures of my 29g, and the status of it.
Its rather sad, it used to be really nice and then it crashed last summer and I just let it go. I have done a 100% water change, and started running a short light cycle and am letting it re-cycle.

Tank is still going strong, crabs and fish living in harmony. The macro algea is growing like crazy. I have taken a lump of it and added it to my tank at home which has cycled again, and is currently housing my cleanup crew awaiting some frags.
There is a 180 gallon sitting in my warehouse at work that I am planning to bring online, but I am not sure where, still in the planning stages.

Cool. Have you had any problems with red hair algae yet? I have been adding calcium to mine and now I have all kinds of Corraline algae. Its taking over!
