I got this kole with bad fin damage and hlle scars back in January. Since then, s/he has enjoyed life and given me lots of love when it comes to food time :)

Ren, post a pic of this guy from when you first got him. People will be shocked to see what a recovery this fish has made!

i wish i could, but it seems i've removed it from photobucket :(
i'm so happy this guy made it though, he's such an active swimmer and loves to rev up on one side of the tank, then coast halfway, make a hairpin turn, go through the rocks, pick up speed on one of my powerheads, and zoom through the caves LOL.

Renogaw, do you know about varieties of Kole tangs? My LFS really got mad at one of their employees for selling me a $70 fish for $40; said that this was a special Kole, not a size difference, I don't think. Are there different varieties and one is more rare? I love the coloration of this fish of mine, purplish brown with pink stripes and pink and yellow in the lateral fins.

Nice looking fish, my favorite tang and so underappreciated! Joyfnp, there as bluespotted and striped koles. Bluespotted are more expensive usually.
