The Sponge is a relativly new additon but no problems so far, Have not read and thing bad about red tree sponge and toxins.
I have 2 different kinds of lights both pc one is corallife quad 65 watt with 2 fans. The other is a customsealife fixture and they are presently out of business. the Coralife one is an older model (about 2 years old.)
Color on the rock... Well over half of the rock I put in I ricked up off the Side of the Road here in Key largo with no life on it what so ever, Just put in a couple of pieces of live rock to seed the Tank, and I have had Coraline growing on it for quite some time :D . However I have had some Red Hair Algea (not Cyno) growning on my rocks recently that has smothered some of my coraline  Now I keep a baster close at hand to blow off the red stuff should it appear (it blows off easily) and I have since put in a new Skimmer and Powerhead with a Small Bio Filer attached To hopefully knock down the Red algae

not to mention 40 new snails, 2 new stars, and a horseshoe (Might have lost him in the remodel though) I bought a bucnch of cheep Nassarius Snail Type snails from ----, most of them did not survive (
) or got eaten by my hermits. I was able to get alto of the algae off during the remodel when I tooke the rocks out I just hope it now stays away... I think it is time to change my PC Bulbs  .
