My 55 is getting some color to it!

Hey guys just showing you some pics. Some update of what I already have and some new fellows I got yesterday.
Alright fromt top to bottom.
1.One of my new fish The Bluefin Damselfish is also called the Black Damselfish, Bowtie Damselfish, Yellow-back Damsel, and Royal Damsel. He will turn solid black as he gets older.
2.Another one of my new fish 3 or three striped damsle. I guess he could be a four if you did the white instead :D .
3.My emerald crab he gave me a good shot earlier but I had to delete it he wasnt so nice with a remake.
4.I guess this is my last sally lightfoot. My two bigger ones fanished for no reason and this guy was the smallest now he is as big as they were.
5.My starfish he is hiding in the open lol.

Some more pics.
1. This is my peppermint shrimp home they usually hide out either here or not to far from here.
2.The left overs of a spider crab molt. I had to pull his exo up to prove to my dad he wasnt dead lol.
3. Just lots of color starting to bloom on my rocks.

Thanks jkat but I think im gonna cry :( no one want to reply to my pics lol. Well thats it darnblastit I guess I will have to get some new ones for you. Well I guess that works out good since I have my replacement bulb coming in the mail and I have 2 finger leathers a colt and some kenya trees coming and some snails. I will show yall then! lol ;)

i remember when your rock was as white as my son's butt

its starting to come around, it should look great once its covered in coralline algea

Looking great Snipe, im real glad to see your rock work coming along. Feels good to get some live stuff in there doesnt it! I just ordered some more today too!!! glad to see some pics from ya! keep em coming!! great job

my rock is white...how are you getting yours to change color?...mine is starting to get a rust color on it...but not purple....
what are you doing?

Well the rust color is probly diatoms mine did that to. I think all new tanks go through that. All I did was got 4 shells with coralline algea on it a few peices of live rock and 1 clam shell with coralline algea on it. I only got 4 or 5 peices of live rock all roughly softball size and only one had color on it. The rock had stuff growing on it so I didnt scrub it I only worked with the clam shell. The other shells were to hard to hold onto and scrub. I took a razor and cut the coralline algea off the clam mantel until it didnt have any color on it. The little peices of coralline algea started the spread and now I have color. The other side of my tank would look the same but one of my bulbs broke "I have a new one coming though" so it will take off before long. jer4916 what is your email mabey I can spread the wealth and help you out.

I think its a common serpent star.
It was pretty white wasnt it lol.
The wealth is the stuff I got from the guy to help mine start.
