Well I threw my first fish in there about 9 months ago. Thanks for the compliments. One more thing: my toadstool looks a little funny. it's been like this for about a week. I am thinking that it is getting ready to split. am i right or is it just dying. i would think that if it was dying it would just bleach out but this things showing wierd colors like blue and purple. What do you think?

I have a small one that I fragged and about 3 weeks ago it would look really weird for around 4 days or so. Wouldnt extend itself much... now its normal and fine.

Thanks speg. That's funny because now it's looking a little more normal. not totally opened up though. That thing is a monster when fully opened probably the size of my hand opened flat out or even a little bigger than that

Dea mt-nothing to worry about with the leather,they are like that,they will close from time to time,but i can almost guarantee that when it re-opens it will be bigger than the last time

yes it is back to normal and looking like it wants to split. let's say i wanted to frag the toadstool how do you got about it? cut a little bit of the cap of it off or do you slice straight down the stalk?

I'm very happy because I got a male mandarin about a week back and I saw him eat frozen mysis today but he would only eat the stuff with eyeballs on it.

yeah, i have a sailfin, a coral beauty, a yellow watchman goby, a pair of perculas, and a mandarin at the moment
