My anemone got stuck in my powerhead

My florida condi anemone got sucked up in my powerhead. I seen it last night and removed it,he is a beat up bad i put it in a breeders cage and it look alot better this morrning.The thing i like to know is will it be ok and will it's tentacle grow back.How can i make shore this does not happen any more is there any way other then the cone that comes with the powerhead the only thing that i can think of is put it in the sump and run a line back to my tank like is sit up for the sump already.

You can buy pre filters for the powerheads. This will help prevent livestock from getting sucked into them.

Mine did the same except it was with the filter, I moved and rearranged the rock it had its foot on. I turned that rock around to be away from the filter and that worked for me.
