Hi:
I have another question..when my LFS thought the metal problem was solved (we hope!), he told me to take a condy anemone home and test it. This was this past weekend, and he as of Wednesday night is still alive...he has moved around the tank some, and has deflated both last night and tonight too. He was full and proud all day today.
My question is, my gold/maroon clown has fallen in love with the condilactis! I know this is not supposed to happen, but he is in the anemone all of the time..he even sleeps right in the middle of the poor thing.
Can this un-natural pairing be harmful to the anemone? I know they are not used to clowns at all, so is this "lovable" clownfish stressing out the anemone too much? Is this the reason the anemone deflates each night? If so, what do you suggest I do about the situation? My LFS sais not to worry, if the fish is happy the anemone will probably be also...I'm not too sure, the fish is absolutely a pest!
The challenge continues!
