My anemone split...

About two years ago i bought a very small anemone for my 10g nano. Here is a pic of it when i bought it, and about 2 weeks ago. My question is, today when i woke up, i noticed it had split, and formed two seperate bases. Will these now two different anemones sting each other, and will the clown live in both of them, or chose one.

They will not sting each other, because they are of the same species. It is hard to say about your clown, each one is different, but I'm guessing it will go back and forth.

No worries about stinging, essentially its the same anemone--a clone. Our BTA split and the other simply moved to another location. The Clarkiis spend time in both of them, but more in the original--its just bigger.
